Model airshow at aviation museum
The event is set to run on Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 9.
And the amazing models on display at the event are a veritable who’s who of the aviation world - with models of such iconic aircraft as the Lancaster, Wellington and Vulcan bombers, the Comet, a Hawker Hart and B17s among the planes making an appearance.

Hide AdOther aircraft expected include the Harrow, Eurofighters, and a large DC3 with a 23-foot airspan.
The Gee Bee racer team, the Dawn Patrol WW1 team and a good selection of World War Two fighters will also be on hand.
“The Large Models Airshow 2012 will showcase the amazing models and flying skills of the LMA,” said a spokesperson.
“This event gives you the chance to see the sight of some of the rarest aircraft in the world taking to the skies - just in miniature.

“There will be many large models and trade stands for the event giving you the perfect opportunity to start a model flying hobby,” they added.
The centre’s full-size Lancaster will also carry out a number of taxy runs on the two days at 1pm and 3pm on Saturday and 1.30pm and 4pm on Monday.
Admission for the event is £8.50 for adults, £7.50 for seniors and £4 for children.
