New Horncastle business is an extra-special vintage
Husband-and-wife Andrew and Jacqui Muller launched Something Truly Vintage, in North Street last Saturday.
For the last 10 months, they’ve been transforming their premises, formerly a furniture store and coffee shop.

Andrew said: “Horncastle is Lincolnshire’s “Antiques Town”, but we are bringing something a bit new and a bit different.
“We specialise in 20th century items, with particular emphasis on mechanical items such as gramophones, record players, phones, cameras plus “mid-century modern” furniture.
“We also have our unique amber jewellery – much of it designed by Jacqui.”

Andrew and Jacqui were born in Kent but it took 30 years for them to “get together” after they met in Essex.
Their previous business was in Hertfordshire but they have fallen in love with Horncastle.
Jacqui said: “We might be Southerners but we really love Horncastle. It has a great sense of community and we’re delighted to be part of it.
“It’s been hard work getting everything ready.
“We’re very grateful to the many local builders, painters, signwriters and others who have helped, and hopefully we can bring a new level to Horncastle’s shopping experience.”
