Young chefs do battle in Rotary taste test
There, the budding junior master chefs from Sleaford area secondary schools had to prepare a healthy and nutritious two course meal for two people at a cost not exceeding £10.
The standard, said the judges, was outstanding, with the winner being Molly Sheppard of Kesteven and Sleaford High School, whose menu was a herb crusted cod on a bed of potato and celeriac mash with baby vegetables, followed by brandy snap baskets with winter berry ice cream and thick cream.
