Gainsborough: Not a white Christmas this year as snow falls on Boxing Day
Residents of Gainsborough narrowly missed out on a white Christmas this year as snow fell on Boxing Day.
The snow fall meant lots of families were able to get out and build snowmen and go sledging over the festive period.
The snow continued to fall into the early hours of Saturday 27th December causing long tailbacks, trees blocking the roads and cars had to be abandoned as motorists struggled to get home.
