“They will also be composed of patented vitreous enamel tiles which the public will be invited to purchase, and on which they will be able to have printed photos of their choosing.”
“The tiles will be robust enough to be walked on and are the intention is to create a new and unique participatory tourist attraction.”
“There will be six different sizes of tile available, with the smallest, measuring 10cm x 10cm, costing just £10.”

“The funds from the tile sales will also be used to pay for the construction of the medieval-style observation tower, with a 360 -degree panorama.”
“The model for Marian’s image will be the winner of Miss Mansfield and Sherwood Forest 2015, whilst I will host an online competition to find a man to model as Robin.
“The funding drive will commence in September this year, as in October I have been invited by Notts County Council to attend a meeting with prospective construction companies with a view to integrating the tower and mosaics into the formal proposals for development of the new Sherwood visitors’ centre.”
