Paying tribute to those lost in war
The service, on Monday, also commemorated the 76th anniversary of the Evacuation of Dunkirk, the 72nd anniversary of the Normandy Landings and the 63rd Anniversary of the end of the Korean War.
Guest of honour, the Mayor of Boston, Coun Stephen Woodliffe told those attending that people often take for granted the young men and women who died and ‘gave up their future so we could enjoy ours’.

He went on to thank veterans Frank Thompson and Les Budding for their work and upkeep of Boston Memorial Gardens on Wide Bargate.
