Police helicopter spotted in Horncastle
Lincolnshire Police has revealed three teenage boys were responsible for an incident in the early hours of this morning (Thursday) in Horncastle that led to the force helicopter being deployed.
Police say they were contacted at 12.53am by a resident who reported hearing what was believed to be a gun shot in a wooded area in Horncastle.
However, officers discovered the loud bangs were from aerosols which had been thrown into a fire by the teenage boys.
The force confirmed all three were ‘returned home.’
