Hide AdHowever, everyone respected the latest restrictions and made sure they stayed two metres apart.
Photographer John Aron took these images of deserted streets and playgrounds in Horncastle and Woodhall Spa which would normally be packed with people and vehicles.
PSCO Nigel Wass and PC Paula Young are pictured patrolling Horncastle’s High Street.
They also patrolled a number of villages in the Wolds, offering support, advice and assurance to residents during the Covid-19 crisis.

Hide AdPCSO Wass said: “There have been no issues and everyone is respecting the regulations.
“We’ve checked on a few people who we know are particularly vulnerable and made sure they are OK - and fetched a few items of shopping for them.
“We’ve had a few people asking what they can or can’t do and we’ve been able to pass on advice.
“Communities really are pulling together.”
There were queues at supermarkets but again, people were well behaved and kept to the regulations.
Meanwhile, police patrols will continue throughout area and officers have new powers to deal with anyone who is not observing the latest Government guidelines.
