Saxilby: Person dies in car crash near Saxilby
One person has died and another is seriously injured in hospital after a car crash near Saxilby yesterday (Monday).
Lincolnshire Police said that two cars collided at 12.15pm on the B1190 at its junction with Sand Laneoutside the village.
The 50-year-old male driver of one vehicle was taken by air ambulance to the Queens Medical Centre at Nottingham with serious injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.
The other driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hide AdThere were no other occupants in the cars and no-one else was injured.
Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses who saw the crash or either vehicle being driven before it to contact the Collision Witness Hotline on 01533 558855.
