Whaley: Annual auction raises over £500 for local church
The annual harvest auction at the Black Horse in Whaley has raised £560 for the upkeep of Elmtop Church.
The auction has been a popular ficture on the local calendar for the last 25 years with all money going to the church.
As ever, the sale was of locally-donated produce and cakes, most of it home-made or home-grown.

And a fine night was had by all again and organisers thanked all who donated, and staff at the Black Horse.
