Worksop children get creative at Sir Peter Blake workshop
Taking place during half-term, the one hour workshops at The Harley Gallery saw children creating bug masks and pocket-sized travel journals while experimenting with colours, textures and patterns inspired by Sir Peter Blake’s World Series of original collages.
Dayle Green, education and engagement manager, said: “Our Hands on Holidays workshops are a great way for children to explore the work of this much loved artist while learning how to create their own collage.

Sir Peter Blake is renowned for his collages and is probably best known as the creator of the iconic Beatles album cover for Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
His work will be displayed at The Harley Gallery as part of The Grand Tour Season until June.
Fans of Sir Peter Blake will also enjoy a visit to Welbeck’s historic Portland Collection next door, where Sir Peter has selected the opening display of miniature portraits.
