Blitz Club sees upsets in week two
The event is open to all junior players from surrounding areas, and aimed at the younger primary school players rather than secondary school.
Two-man teams h are drawn out of a hat weekly, with the eventual winner being an individual with the highest total of points rather than a team.

Hide AdWeek two saw a couple of surprise results, the main being a 3-2 defeat for Ryan Mitchell against Harry Tomlinson.
The match was a free flowing encounter with some strong shots from both.
However, before he knew it Ryan was 2-1 down.
He did well to bring the score back to the fifth, but Harry showed how much he has improved and ran away with the final set 11-4.
Kieran Crawford continued his dominance of the event, as he remains undefeated.

Hide AdHowever, Ryan Mitchell pushed him all the way to the final set.
In what was an extremely tight match it was Kieran who came out on top with a 15-13 victory in the final set.
Newcomer Kieran Cowan picked up an excellent four points this week, defeating both of his school mates Bradley Shaw and Hayden Denman, in extremely close matches, and pairing up with Euan Smith-Reynolds to take the doubles.
Zack Surtees picked up another win to add to his excellent results from the previous week, when he paired up with Kieran Crawford in the doubles.

Hide AdThis means that Zack is the leading under 11 player with a total of five points overall.
Sam Phillips will be looking to close the gap next week however as he is only a point behind, at this early stage in the competition.
