Bassingham won the toss on a fantastic looking pitch with the sun beating down on Coronation Walk.
Their innings started brightly with the opening batsman finding the boundary in the first couple of overs.

Cameron Elliott bowled an exceptional six over spell and took five wickets for just four runs, four of them bowled and the other caught by his brother Josh. Cam’s spell ripped through Bassingham and they were bowled out for 118.
Horncastle’s reply was without mistake, as opening batsmen Bee and Jonny Clark both played some wonderful shots all around the wicket. Tight bowling was defended well and loose deliveries were put away to the boundary.
Neither Bee or Clark put a foot wrong as they knocked the runs off without losing a wicket in just 22 overs. Clark ended 39 not out and Bee reached his half century to end 69 not out.
And so it was a massive win for Horncastle – by 10 wickets.
