Patience will pay off as Boston United target left back
Landing a left back is now Craig Elliott’s top priority.
Boston United began the week with a striker and left-sided defender top of the shopping list.
But following the arrival of Jordan Archer, a full back is now top priority

Hide Ad“We’re trying to be very slow in the process to make sure every signing is a good signing and brings something to the team. We’ve done that so far,” Elliott said.
”We need a left back.
“Still, we have to stay patient. I would like the squad completed, but still it’s an unusual period.
“We’re still four-five weeks away from the start of the season so there will be some good players still available.”
Summer signing Lewis Gibbens can play on the left side, but Elliott wants the former Mansfield Town youngster to challenge for a place in central defence.
