Quadrant ground funding plan to be launched
Chairman David Newton addressed the Pilgrims fans following the final home game of the league season on Saturday.
There he said that attempts at raising funds from Sport England did not go as hoped, so it’s time to turn to plan B.

Hide Ad“We will be starting work on the new ground on the A16 in the next two to three weeks,” he said of the Quadrant development, which will include a ground, sports centre, houses and retail area.
“Hopefully by September we’ll have access to the first residential units, and the ground, so we can start building the ground later in the summer.
“We will build a ground, it will be a good ground, of course, but we are still short of money. We lobbied Sport England and we were not successful but we are putting some fundraising initiatives out there so hopefully you can help us, local businesses, yourselves.”
