Tigers remain unbeaten after Trinity draw
It was the home side that made the better start to the game with Mark Jones firing just wide then he put a header wide from Jonathan Williams’ free kick.
The hosts continued to press, having the majority of possession, however, Tigers defended resolutely denying the Blues real clear-cut chances.

Hide AdThe nearest they came to breaking the deadlock was a Williams’ free-kick that was comfortably saved by Ben Hallam.
Despite the home sides pressure it was Tigers who had the best chance of the half, Denton rising well to meet Shaq McKenzie’s cross only to be denied by Phil Barnes excellent save, the ball falling to Shane Clarke whose follow up shot was blocked on the line.
Worksop had an early chance in the second half, Denton side-footing McKenzie’s cross just wide of the post.
The Blues were soon on the attack again, taking the lead on 51 minutes, Williams making a good run down the right before his low, hard cross was steered home from close range by Barraclough.

Both sides started to make wholesale changes as the half wore on and it was Tigers who finished the game stronger.
With nine minutes remaining Tigers were on level terms.
Barnes could only parry Denton’s header from Jack Barnett’s corner and it was Denton who reacted quickest to fire home the rebound.
Tigers pressed for a winner, Mitch Husbands going close shooting just wide, as the game ended 1-1.
