Winning debut for Cordeaux Academy, Louth
The Year 7 boys travelled to Skegness Grammar School for their first match and all put in 100 per cent, displaying good team spirit and a strong work ethic to earn a 2-0 victory.
Finley Koscow put the Louth school in front shortly before half-time before skipper Tom Scott found the net in the second half.

Hide AdScott, who was named man-of-the-match, hit a clean strike from the edge of the box which arrowed into the bottom corner of the net to cap a well-deserved win.
Coach Matthew Mansey said: “They represented the Academy well with their positive attitude and excellent behaviour, and their performances proved their endeavours in training are paying off.
“Well done to all who participated and let’s hope the Year 7s keep up their eagerness in training for fixtures in the future.”
