Harmon makes ring return
Boston Amateur Boxing Club’s Dylan Harmon was in championship action in Nottingham on Saturday.
After a lengthy injury lay off and incredibly losing 7kg in a week, he made weight to fight in the light welterweight category Justin Revell of the Burton Park ABC.

Hide AdHarmon displayed good head movement and high hands to evade attacks and managed to catch his taller opponent with the better punches in the first round.
A busier second round from the Boston man saw him edge the round with some telling head and body shots.
Fatigue was visibly evident from both fighters going into the last. Harmon was implored by his cornermen to keep the pressure on and to keep working which he did. He delivered a grandstand finish to convince the judges it was his fight.
The bout was awarded in the other direction on a points decision - Dylan seemingly looked to have done enough, but it wasn’t to be.
A lot of positives were taken from the bout as Dylan looks to challenge for a regional belt.
