FORTY one players played in a medal competition at Sandilands Golf Club sponsored by Brian Godwin, Tim Mellor and David Wright.
Division A was won by Derek Hammond with 65, Richard Naylor came second with 67 and Dennis Jeffcock third with 68.

Division B was won by Keith Kelly with a brilliant 63, Terry Hoare came second with 65 and Chris Baker third with 68.

Seniors Captain Peter Leak thanked Brian, Tim and Dave for their sponsorship and they then presented the prizes.

Twenty six Seniors played in a stableford competition. Division A was won by Alan Dowley with 39pts, John Gibson came second with 37pts.

Dennis Jeffcock won Division B with 34pts, John Conyers came second with 31pts.

The ladies played a medal qualifier competition. Winner with 72 was Jacquie Willey, Freda Smith came second with 75 and Audrey Harrison came third with 80.

Silver Qualifier was Jacquie Willey. Audrey Harrison was Bronze Qualifier.
