LOUTH Golf Club was triumphant in the second division of the North Lincolnshire League.
Their success in the handicap B league has put them up to division one.
Captain of the B Team Ken Haddon, Men’s Vice Captain, held a dinner for members of the team and their partners in celebration.
The junior section held their annual prize giving evening. The Junior Organizer, Paul Campbell, praised all the juniors with special reference to those in the county league team who were second only in the region to Woodhall Spa, by a mere two points.
Lewis Campbell, Junior Captain, was also re-presented with the Stamford Trophy, a county competition, which he won at Tydd St Giles – he achieved a county first in winning both this trophy, for the best nett, and the Howard Mulligan trophy for the best gross.
The announcement was also made for next year’s Junior’s Captain which is to be Josh Baines, who takes over from Lewis Campbell.
