Central Midlands League Premier Division

LOUTH Town maintained their amazing 100 per cent record in the Central Midlands Premier League with a thrilling 5-2 victory over Parkhouse at Park Avenue.
Playing their first home game for a month, Town began the game at a good tempo and took an early lead when Ben Davison latched on to a good ball from James Archer to swivel in the Parkhouse area and squeeze the ball past Skidmore in the visitors goal.

Town almost doubled their lead immediately when from their next attack Phil Winters had a far post header saved after Mark Hallam's driven cross.

Parkhouse went close from their first chance after 20 minutes when Williams found himself in space outside the Town box but blasted over.

The home lead was doubled after 25 minutes when Paul Watts scored a typical strikers goal after Mark Hallam set up Town's leading scorer after a flowing move.

Parkhouse striker Lynam was doing his best to get his side back into the game when first he headed wide when well positioned and then forcing Craig Wherry into making his first save of the afternoon, but it was Town who continued to look the most dangerous in the final third.

A fiercely driven corner from the left by Mark Hallam somehow eluded everyone when all it needed was a touch to have given Town a third goal so they had to be content with their 2-0 score line at the break.

Parkhouse came out for the second half in far more determined fashion and began to look more threatening.
